Fall: Cultural Expedition Tour (October 16 - 30, 2010)

We don’t want you to miss the Shanghai World EXPO, so we will take you there first. Now, what will be next? Maybe you want to slow down your pace. If so, we will take you to Hangzhou, the leisure capital of China, where you can enjoy a Chinese cultural seminar on Chinese arts and culture, or take a hands-on lesson in Chinese cooking, or just explore the city’s beautiful West Lake area with its multitude of teahouses. Next, we will dive into Southwestern China, the place that inspired James Hilton to invent Shangri-La. A leisurely cruise along the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges will immerse you in the colorful history and culture of China. Finally, the tour will end in Beijing with free time to explore the Great Wall or the great shopping.

PRICE: $3500 per person based on double occupancy, from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)based
